We started in the North. Now we are building for the whole nation.

CyberStarter Nexus was born out of a simple but painful observation. Northern Nigeria, a region with millions of young, hungry, and talented people, was being left out of the cybersecurity conversation. The professionals were elsewhere. The events were elsewhere. The opportunities were elsewhere. And nobody seemed to be doing anything about it.

So we did something about it.

In 2026, we launched CyberStarter Nexus in Minna, Niger State, as a two-day national cybersecurity summit designed to bring the industry to the people who needed it most. We brought in professionals, hosted workshops, ran a national CTF competition, and created a room where expertise met the next generation face to face. Hundreds showed up. The conversation started.

But as the movement grew, so did the vision.

What began as an initiative to serve Northern Nigeria quickly became clear was needed across the entire country. The same gap we saw in Minna exists in Kano, in Enugu, in Lagos, in Calabar. Talented young Nigerians everywhere are trying to break into cybersecurity with no clear path, no community, and no platform built for them.

CyberStarter Nexus is that platform. And it is now built for all of Nigeria.

We are building the infrastructure that the next generation of Nigerian cybersecurity professionals will grow up in. A nationally recognized movement with a larger summit, deeper bootcamp programs, and a community that reaches every corner of Nigeria.
